BEGINNER / FIRST TIMER KITE FLYER LESSON
Learn the steps to becoming a confident / safe snowkiter. We start with a 3 line trainer kite which is super safe and easy to use. Even kids from the age of 8 can fly them. But once I teach you to turn on the power it can tow you with your skis or snowboard in the right conditions.
- Forecasting and location choice.
- Looking for dangers up and down wind.
- Set-up and safety.
- Learning about the wind window.
- Launching and landing.
- Basic flying manoeuvres.
- Creating power with the kite.
- Getting first rides on skis or snowboard.
- Learning the 4 line kite and attaching to the harness.
- Progressing from smaller kites to bigger kites as you feel confident.
COST: $350 3hr Private or $300 each in a group of 2 or more.
PRIVATE LESSON for you and or your partner!
3 hour private lesson to progress your snowkiting skills or explore the best locations!
- Beginner to Advanced.
- Learn to use Foil or Inflatable kites or Wings.
- Forecasting and location advice.
- Reading mountain winds.
- Set-up, anchoring and safety in snow.
- Dealing with kite gear in cold conditions.
- Self launching and landing.
- Advanced light wind and high wind flying manoeuvres.
- Getting your first jumps.
- Going on a tour to find the best powder stashes and terrain features to play in.
- Snowkiting in avalanche terrain.
COST: $350 3hr Private or $300 each in a group of 2 or more.
GROUP LESSON or ADVANCED GROUP TOUR
