BEGINNER LESSONS
Learn the steps to becoming a confident / safe snowkiter. We start with a 3 line trainer kite which is super safe and easy to use. Even kids from the age of 8 can fly them. But once I teach you to turn on the power it can tow you with your skis or snowboard in the right conditions.
- Forecasting and location choice.
- Looking for dangers up and down wind.
- Set-up and safety.
- Learning about the wind window.
- Launching and landing.
- Basic flying manoeuvres.
- Creating power with the kite.
- Getting first rides on skis or snowboard.
- Learning the 4 line kite and attaching to the harness.
- Progressing from smaller kites to bigger kites as you feel confident.
COST: $500 3hr Private or $350 each in a group of 2 or more.
PRIVATE INTERMEDITATE TO ADVANCED SNOWKITE LESSON
3 hour or more, private lesson to progress your snowkiting skills or explore the best locations!
- Intermediate to Advanced.
- Learn to use Foil or Inflatable kites or Wings.
- Forecasting and location advice.
- Reading mountain winds.
- Set-up, anchoring and safety in snow.
- Dealing with kite gear in cold conditions.
- Self launching and landing.
- Advanced light wind and high wind flying manoeuvres.
- Getting your first jumps.
- Going on a tour to find the best powder stashes and terrain features to play in.
- Snowkiting in avalanche terrain.
COST: $500 3hr Private or $350 each in a group of 2 or more.

WOMENS SNOWKITE CAMP

This trip is for women who want to become confident kiters that also love to ski or snowboard. Tough chicks who love a cold, snowy, windy adventure. Learn valuable tips for using inflatable and foil kites on snow, safety and navigation, snowkiting in avalanche terrain and more.
- 3 day women's Snowkite camp including accommodation, meals and extra activities.
- Suited to intermediate to advanced kiteboarders who ski or snowboard.
- Learn the skills to be a confident and safe snowkiter using inflatable or foil kites.
- Learn to self launch and land, powered transitions and down looping to go up the mountain.
- Pro kiters and female instructors to teach and inspire.
- Motivational talks and slideshows at night.
- Learn basic backcountry skills including how to snowkite in avalanche terrain.
- Jumping and freestyle coaching.
